The well figured rosewood top with boxwood stringing, each quarter with stylised classical inlay and foliate wheat-ears within an ebonised border. The table unfolds with cast brass hinges to an inset baize lined interior and inset money wells.The frieze accommodates a single drawer for games and cards. The base with four tapered legs terminates with brass cups and china castors, united by arched stretchers to central lower platform.
