Built of mellow stone, Haywards Cottage is an ancient cottage of great character and atmosphere and said to date to before C1560 when it was probably used as living accommodation by ostlers or coachmen from the then adjoining Crown Inn, now Woolcomber House. Now fully furnished for present day comfort and decorated throughout to a high standard with country furniture to create some old world charm.

A single storey former gardener’s bothy and stables, this cottage enjoys the seclusion of its own garden with fine views over open Cotswold countryside. Comfortably decorated and furnished with oak and country furniture and examples of Arts & Crafts furniture, a movement formulated in the Cotswolds in the 1930’s.
