The case with a pair of cast brass locks and bearing the impresssed maker's mark of Swaine Briggs London W1. The firm, located at 54 St. James's has been established some 250 years and holds a Royal Warrant.
This suitcase would date from the 1940's and despite a little minor scuffing is in very fine condition.
