The rectangular well figured top with crossbanded moulded border. The top is unique to our experience in that it slides and extends to the right and is supported by a fifth cabriole leg. When open it reveals the interior which is oak lined with divisions and includes a rectangular removable serving tray with a pair of pierced handles as on a butler's tray. To the frieze a shallow oak lined drawer with divisions and with lock and brass plate escutcheon. The cabriole legs terminate with padfeet and support a lower shelf of
concave form with matching figured veneers within a cockbeaded border..
