Scratch Built Scale Model of a Bicycle
Fine detail and condition and appears to be largely original. However, the pedals are possibly replacements of a later date. A little work of art even down to the carved replica of a Brooks leather saddle.

The Game of Fish Ponds

Boxed game of fishing, using a hook on a cedar wood rod. Twenty cardboard fish, two rods & printed instructions to the inside of the lid. Printed label with maker's name, J.Jaques & Son, London. Invented by Alfred Seeley, the game found popularity in Victorian England. John Jaques & Son is one of the oldest and most famous manufacturer of games in the world, having begun in 1795 and passed down from father to son for six generations. There are versions of this game in both the V&A Museum and the State Museum of South Australia.

Boxed Jigsaw Superior Double Dissection Map by W.Peacock

Geography & History of Europe and Kings & Queens of England. Mahogany box with sliding lid and fine printed label depicting the future Edward V11, Albert Edward, on horseback. The wooden jigsaw with prints on both sides, one, a map of Europe and the other, kings and queens of England in chronological order and with a brief history of each reign. The map published by Gall & Inglis of Edinburgh & London. Now mounted in a double-sided, ebonised frame which can be easily removed for play.

Regency Rosewood Child's Armchair
The arms terminate with carved rosewood paterae over tapered columns with lotus carved bases and are united by a moulded rail. The legs are tapered, turned, fluted and carved. The floral crewelwork upholstery embroidered for the chair adds to the charm. English, circa 1820 - 1830

Carved and scrolled cresting rails supported by barley-sugar turned supports with pierced and scrolled slats and carved Tudor roses. Swept arms with bobbin turned supports, overboarded seats and joined underframes.

The chest has two short and three long, graduated drawers with well-figured, tiger-stripe mahogany fronts, ebony stringing and fine turned, knob handles. Stands upon a pair of splay feet that are united by a shaped frieze repeated to the sides.
