Ormolu Oval Medallion 'The Bust of Minerva'
Wearing a laurel wreathed and dragon crested Corinthian helmet. Highly detailed and finely cast, neo-classical image. Now mounted in a gilt frame with ribbed scarlet silk ground and a rosewood cross banded surround. Minerva was the goddess of many disciplines including Wisdom, War , the Arts, Civilization, Law and Justice and Strategy.

'Geographia' 6" Terrestrial Globe
The globe is supported on the shoulders of a cast statue of Altas, who stands upon a plinth base. Printed label bears inscription 'Geographia" 6" Terrestrial Globe, Geographia Ltd., 55 Fleet Street, London EC4. The globe made in England the plinth abroad, circa 1930.

Silver Plated Claret Jug
Classic hobnail cut jug of low baluster form on raised domed foot with engraved Greek key pattern to neck. Floral and leafed wreaths to the body. Elaborately cast square cut handle with entwined serpent and sphinx to the thumb piece. Bright cut decoration to neck and spout with beaded borders to hinged lid with flower and petal decorated finial.

Art Deco Shagreen Dialled Clock
Square green, chinoiserie moulded frame around the dial with green stained sharkskin ground, gilt chapter ring with black Roman numerals and minute divisions, the fretted hands of gilt brass. The movement of 8 day duration. To the reverse it bears the name WILSON SHARP LTD, EDINBURGH, who were established 1897. Both the clock and case were probably made in France, circa 1920 - 1930.

Sterling Silver Golfing Themed Spinning Top
Repousse decoration of a six petalled flower, each petal bearing a familiar golfing term. The central acorn finial with beaded collar. The base is probably ebony and has six sides tapering to a point. Inscribed to outer edge GORHAM STERLING 50G. Gorham manufacturing Co. is one of the United States largest makers of sterling silver and silver plate, established in 1831 in Providence, Rhode Island.

The box opens to a chessboard inlaid with rosewood and boxwood squares with stringing. The chess pieces are carved bone and red stained bone.

Floral Porcelain Footbath
Oval body of bombe form with out-swept rim. To the sides a pair of applied scroll handles of stylised rope and dolphin form. The hand painted floral decoration includes irises, roses, convolvulus, sunflowers, forget-me-nots and anemones.
