Rare antique 18th century copper chocolate pot

Rare antique 18th century copper chocolate pot of low baluster form with turned fluted side handle for pouring, over raised base. Note the seamed construction. The lid with spout has a hinged cover for stirring stick. The drinking of chocolate became very fashionable in 18th century coffee houses.
