19th century oak framed library armchair with original scarlet leather. The sides to the scrolled back with fish-scale carving, which extend to the arms with leather upholstered armrests, terminating with acanthus carving and supported by turned spindles. Buttoned leather seat supported by boldly turned and carved legs, which terminate with brass cups and castors.
