19th century rosewood writing desk, the top with fine baluster turned gallery to scarlet and gilt tooled leather writing slope, which opens to a void, polished mahogany interior. Stands upon a turned triple baluster and ring turned trestle end supports to platforms united by a turned stretcher. The turned bun feet conceal brass castors.
