Parquetry inlaid cribbage board

Parquetry inlaid cribbage board. The mahogany board is decorated with a profusion of inlay, the cabinet maker demonstrating his skills with banding, stringing, feather banding and bone.  The board also bears the masonic symbol. Stands upon brass bun feet.  The end plug holds the four bone scoring pegs. To the base impressed maker’s mark, N.Murray, who is believed to have worked in Gloucestershire.
