Six 19th century Burmese bronze ‘opium’ weights, or Hintha Duck weights, on hexagonal bases. Six weights of varying sizes from the traditional measurement of 1 ‘Vis’ (1.632kg) down to 1 Tikal (16g). These weights were used for weighing precious commodities such as gold, silver and pearls.
