Georgian Sheffield plated charger cover

Georgian Sheffield plated charger cover with oval domed lid and gadrooned border, the elaborate rococo handle
with acorn and oak leaf detail. Engraved with crest of a horse’s head with the motto PRO REGE ET PATRIA (for king and county). Family crest of Sprot Tait,  formerly of Milrig House, Kilmarnock, Ayreshire.
