Vintage oak armorial shield, hand painted and gilded arms for Haileybury College, Hertfordshire,
The arms granted in 1943: Azure, an open book argent bound gules edged and garnished with gold clasps and inscribed with the words "Sursum Corda" (Lift up your hearts) between three hearts.
The collage was founded by the East India Company (1806-1858) and later became the public school, Haileybury College in 1862.
