The bowl with incised roundel and foliage decoration sits on a plinth with similar decoration. Bears maker’s mark for the Leeds firm of art pottery and ceramics, The Leeds Fireclay Co. Ltd, established in 1889. LEFCO ware was introduced in 1912, a variation of Marmo faience for architect wares. Sound condition but with some chips and firing cracks to the glaze.
