Late 19th century Anglo Indian inlaid shisham (Indian rosewood) octagonal table on hinged folding base. The top inlaid with trailing vine and floral decoration and bands of quatrefoils within bone and ebony stringing to a chevron border, repeated to the legs. Panels of quatrefoil banding and bone stringing above bracket shaped cusped arches, in the Arabian or Moorish style. Low stretchers between each leg with chevron decoration. 

This example from Northern India, probably Hoshiarpur, 

mid to late 19th century, circa 1880 - 1900.
