Vizagapatam sandalwood and ivory casket, the domed lid with engraved ivory strap work and bosses to the fretwork, the ivory panels engraved with Hindu deities highlighted with lac which is repeated to all four sides. The lid opens with silvered mounts to a sandalwood interior. The box stands upon carved ivory paw feet. A fine box with minor damage to the pierced panels.
