Georgian mahogany butler’s tray on stand, the rectangular quarter panelled top within folding arched sides, pieced as carrying handles and with inset brass hinges. Stands on an X-frame folding mahogany stand.A similar tray was supplied to the Earl of Dumfries by Thomas Chippendale in 1763.
