19th century elm blanket chest

19th century elm blanket chest, the undulating top, a single board, with applied mouldings to the edge opens with a pair of hand-wrought iron strap hinges to a void interior. To the sides a pair of brass plate handles. Stands upon applied moulding and shaped bracket feet. The reverse is polished.  All of very good colour and patination.
