Fine antique repoussé silver tankard of tapered cylindrical form with applied double C scroll handle. The body depicts a continental rural scene with an organ grinder and monkey outside the village church. Gilt interior, the foot of scrolling rococo form.
Maker’s mark RH for Robert Harper and hallmarked Old English ‘a’ for 1856.
