Antique mid Georgian silver pepper of low baluster form, the pierced removable bun top with reeded girdle border, the waist with gadrooned band. Stands upon a raised domed circular foot.
London hallmark C for 1758. Maker’s mark: J.D. for Jabez Daniel. Another, by the same maker, is in the National Trust Collection at Hanbury Hall. Some wear from use over the years, but charming.
