Vintage English silver toast rack

Vintage English silver toast rack of banded barrel form with oval base to four ball feet;  four divisions and applied circular loop handle. London hallmark ‘q’ for 1911 and makers’ mark G&S Co. Ltd into a trefoil for the Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., established in 1880 as a conglomeration of retail jewellers and silversmiths and eventually amalgamated into Garrard & Co Ltd in 1952.
