19th century oak chair steps

Oak library chair steps, the back with two rectangular and chamfered rails pierced with gothic trefoil and quatrefoil detail to oak boarded seat. The under frame with ring turned baluster front legs unfolds to form a set of four tread library steps, secured in place by a brass latch.
