The arms of London University

The arms of London University. Painted tole, mounted upon an oak shield.
The University of London received a grant of arms in April 1838. The arms depict a cross of St George upon which there is a Tudor rose surrounded by detailing and surmounted by a crown. Above there is a blue field with an open book upon it.
