Sheraton revival, kidney-shaped writing desk with original leather lined top above an arrangement of nine drawers with brass handles.  Convex sides and panelled back, all with fine neo-classical foliate marquetry inlay within boxwood and ebony stringing. Stands upon eight square tapered legs that terminate with spade feet.
English, circa 1880 - 1900
