19th century antique set of graduated treen boxes.
This remarkable set consists of ten boxes, all circular with screw on lids and of graduated form and all fitting inside one another. The outer box of lignum vitae followed by rosewood, ebony, ivory, kingwood, purple heart, ivory, coromandel, ivory and coromandel.
