19th century carved bone barleycorn chess set,  one set left natural, the other stained red (cochineal red).The king, queen and pawns with turned ball finials, the bishops with mitres, the knights carved as horses and the rooks with castellated turrets, all with beaded/cogged bases and displayed in a glass domed case.
