12mo - 5” x 7 ⅜”. 255pp. Full oxblood calf binding with tooled gilt rules and corner rosettes to both boards, gilt school crest for Dover College to front board and gilt tooled decoration to board edges. Five raised bands and gilt decoration and title to spine. Embossed pattern to inside board edges around marbled endpapers and all page edges marbled. Prize label to inside front board for Dover College to G. B Smyth, January 1907.

Condition: Fine+ copy with more or less unmarked boards and unread, tight spine. Pages all very clean and bright with only mild foxing to first few pages, front and back, along with the prize label. Apart from sunning to spine, an exceptionally clean, strong and handsome copy.
