Pair tall tole biscuit tins in the form of a pair of neo-classical tea caddies.
The oval lids with faux Sheraton shell decoration, the canisters with wood effect backgrounds and faux inlaid vases of flowers.
The new technology of offset litho printing of these biscuit tins of various forms and styles became very popular between 1860 and the 1920’s and those that have survived are highly decorative and collectable.
